Google Docs’ New Menus and Toolbar Empty Google Docs’ New Menus and Toolbar

Just yesterday, Google Docs launched a new look, a more user-friendly GUI. The new look is certainly cool and more easy to locate functionalities. Here’s some major highlights of these changes (taken from Google Docs Groups Discussion) posted by Marie:

Google Docs’ New Menus and Toolbar Newtoolbarandmenus

New Menus:

* Format - Everything that you used to find in the “Style” menu is now on the format menu
* Tools - Spelling and word count have now taken their places here
* Tables - There is now a whole menu dedicated to tables so you have the option of editing the table from the drop-down menu or by right-clicking on the table.

Major Moves:

* Revisions - As we all rely on revisions for docs, I wanted to clue you in on where it is now. You’ll be able to manage revisions directly from the “File” menu by clicking on “Revision history”.
* The “Share” menu - We’ve moved many options under “Share”. You can now preview, email, and publish your docs directly from the share tab!
* Edit HTML is now more logically under the “Edit” menu!
