P2 Energy Solutions' Showcases its Tobin GIS Studio - Cartographic Toolkit at the ESRI Business Partners Conference

HOUSTON—(BUSINESS WIRE)—March 14, 2008— P2 Energy Solutions is showcasing its Tobin GIS Studio - Cartographic Toolkit application at the ESRI Business Partners' Conference in Palm Springs, California on Sunday, March 16, 2008.

Tobin GIS Studio - Cartographic Toolkit (TGS-CTK) provides ESRI ArcGIS Desktop users new geo-processing tools. It extends label and symbol properties to mine and display related and calculated data in map projects and gives users a special identify function (Tobin CTK Identify) to locate related data in the map interface. TGS-CTK also solves the persistent problem of creating a logical label for sequentially numbered items relating to a map feature, rather than requiring the repetition of each number in such a sequence, and it creates unique inlining symbology to identify coincident polygonal features.

TGS-CTK, will be comprised of seven unique sets of functionality to make the ESRI ArcMap project more robust and meaningful to the end user; making it easier for the GIS specialist to construct these new, richer ESRI ArcMap projects. TGS- CTK is comprised of the following:

-- Related data symbology

-- Calculated value symbology

-- Halo fill

-- Summarized sequences

-- Inlining

-- Tobin CTK identify

In order to deliver the latest in GIS functionality, TGS-CTK was developed on ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop v.9.2 SP4. Much of the labeling functionality only requires ArcView licenses; while the geo-processing functionality requires an ArcEditor license.
