What is Net8 Alias ?? I found this while defining a connect specification to an
oracle database.

Hi jessica

Net8 Alias is listed in the oracle configuration file TNSNAMES.ORA, this is associated with the LISTENER process running on the Oracle Server. Simply speeking Net8 alias is the domain name at which the password is given for example:
Jessica_Karia
Jessica_Karia
